Current public version Android 1.1.3Records updated through October 23, 2026
Device compatibility instructions
Bluetooth headsets and recording cards
The new version now supports Bluetooth headset microphone recording and unifies recording card management. Headset battery level is based on data the system can provide; connection, transmission, and recording capabilities on different devices and firmware still need to be confirmed according to the actual device. Recording card binding is limited by device protocols and firmware, and forced exclusive use across apps is currently not guaranteed.

Upgrade recording card SDK and protocol, optimize Bluetooth, Wi-Fi downloads and resumable transfers.
Unify document export naming, optimize membership plan layout.
Released
Android 1.0.40
Transcriptions and summaries are saved to the account by default, while audio remains local. Distinguish whether local and recording card audio exist, and prioritize local playback. Web login now adds a service agreement checkbox that includes the privacy policy.
Released
Android 1.0.39
Phone number and email registration no longer require checking the agreement first in order to obtain a verification code; submitting to create an account still requires actively agreeing to the agreement.
Code-sending requests do not submit a privacy consent version; only the registration submission after consent reads the server's current version, avoiding email registration failures caused by the client hardcoding an old version.
The countdown for the same normalized phone number/email is saved to the local device under a hashed key; registration, recovery, and binding share the cooldown for the corresponding contact method. Returning, switching contact methods, page rebuilds, or new storage instances cannot clear the saved deadline. A 60-second deadline is saved before the request is sent, to avoid immediate resending after a lost response.
The server retains rate limiting of at least 60 seconds per contact method; SQLite transactions atomically reserve quota, and failed or incomplete sends also count toward the limit. 429 returns the actual remaining seconds and Retry-After; the existing hourly, daily, IP, and total send quotas are retained.
The existing 5-minute verification code validity, HMAC verification, maximum of five attempts, one-time consumption, and account registration agreement check are retained.
Released
Android 1.0.38
Record details remove the text/original audio storage note below the body text.
The original "Project: Current group" entry has moved to the horizontal three-dot more menu in the title bar; the menu retains the current project name; tapping it lets you select an existing project or ungrouped.
The entire project selection row is tappable; the text, radio circle, blank space, and padding share the same action; cancel keeps the original project, and closing the menu returns to details.
Word export uses white text on a blue background #185ABD, PowerPoint export uses white text on a red-orange background #C43E1C, both preserved in light and dark themes. Colors are provided through the document format semantic role of the shared button, continuing to reuse size, corner radius, and disabled styles; the export interface is unchanged.
Per this user request, interface acceptance testing uses only the emulator.
Released
Android 1.0.37
Upgrade the AiPen Android SDK to v2.1.0 and synchronously adapt callback-driven BLE and Wi-Fi compatibility patches.
Fix the offset for raw stream pause/disconnection recovery, save breakpoints according to the actual layout, and avoid uniformly truncating to multiples of 88 bytes.
Keep the positions of the progress and size rows during sync, reserve line-wrapping space for status text in each language, and prevent receiving/audio preparation switches from pushing the list.
Preserve the original input limits for user-initiated FRESH archiving, four-ABI RAW post-processing, existing bindings, and on-card recordings.
Released
Android 1.0.36
The plus menu in the lower right corner of the records page now includes "Manage projects", located below "Project: Current selection", which directly opens project management.
Project management allows you to create projects and move existing records to projects; after a new project is saved, it can be selected for filtering on the records page, and when you return, the original records list position and filter are preserved.
Creating a project from project management will not change the default project setting for new recordings. The project tools on the original settings page remain available.
Released
Android 1.0.35
Fixed an issue where the phone recording entry was occupied by the recording card when the card was not nearby, reconnecting, or its status had not yet been read; you can now start recording directly with the phone.
Automatic reconnection gradually extends the wait, with up to six attempts. Switching back to the app or starting the sync service does not reset the retry count; manual reconnection, manual sync, and connection recovery can still continue.
When the phone is preparing or recording, a recording card that connects successfully later will not switch the current recording source. Recording and sync information for disconnected cards is retained, and verification continues after the connection is restored.
The phone microphone continues to use the recording card waveform preview's verified capture mode, avoiding the issue where some Xiaomi devices claim to support raw capture but output all-zero samples.
The project filter and list settings on the records page have been moved into the plus menu; tap the plus to choose Import audio, Project, or List settings. The current value of the project filter is shown in the menu, and the entire project row is selectable.
Removed the text storage location and audio transmission description from the record list cards, retaining the title, time, category, and actual task progress.
Released
Android 1.0.34
The recording card and phone recording share the timer, waveform, markers, pause/resume, long-press to end, real-time captions, and text translation interface; the translation language entry is moved to the right of the recording name.
During recording on the card, the phone's built-in microphone only captures audio in memory for waveforms and on-demand subtitles and translation, and does not save a second copy of the audio; release the capture after pause, stop, and disconnection.
After the recording card or phone ends recording, immediately attempt Bluetooth sync of this audio, and automatically transcribe once the file is ready. The settings page provides an immediate sync option that is enabled by default and persistently saved; when disabled, normal automatic or manual sync is used.
Speed up decoding of imported audio such as AAC and MP3 transcoding, optimize the recording card audio preparation process; support immediate retry while waiting on the transcription network.
Mind maps save and display hierarchy by record, showing three levels by default, and only provide the one-to-four level options actually supported by the current content; Word, PowerPoint, and image exports follow the selected hierarchy. Old content is not regenerated or batch rewritten; newly generated content targets four levels, and shallower levels are allowed when information is insufficient.
Unify recording card management, button, error feedback, dark mode, and decimal capacity display; hide the bottom quick jump bar when checking original audio script.
Released
Android 1.0.33
After enabling data sync, all record text is automatically uploaded to the cloud; remove the connection code and phone record checkboxes. The web version retrieves the original audio on demand, text modifications are automatically sent back to the phone, and simultaneous modifications preserve both versions.
Released
Android 1.0.32
Use the new orange Jiyi Logo, unifying the warm white background, orange accents, dark gray body text, and warm charcoal dark theme.
Update the theme colors for recording, lists, note Q&A, settings, player, import, login, selection items, and the system bar.
White text action buttons use a darker orange, and the recording waveform uses the Logo orange; the recording status indicator and stop button remain red.
Word export retains the independent blue #185ABD, PowerPoint export retains the orange-red #C43E1C; record categories and mind map branches retain category colors.
Includes the manual cloud sync merged in after the last official release: after the user logs in and explicitly authorizes selected notes and optional audio, manually sync with the web version; no automatic background upload is scheduled.
Released
Android 1.0.31
When the bottom settings are tapped, return to the settings main page. Switching from subpages such as membership, backup, background recording, and service version to other sections and then returning, or tapping the current settings section again, both display the main page.
The bank card expiration date pre-displays in MM / YY format with a slash; in edit state only digits are saved, and format and cursor are handled through display conversion, supporting digit-by-digit input, deletion, and pasting.
Validity period numbers keep the month/year order under RTL languages, avoiding display as reversed year/month.
Card numbers and security codes uniformly handle digits and common separators; when bank card payment verification fails, display the specific reason near the payment button.
When payment channel preparation fails, prioritize showing the reason and retry guidance, so users do not have to finish entering card information before seeing the preparation failure.
When tapping blank space outside the input box, cancel focus and hide the keyboard; use gesture observation that does not consume child control events to keep buttons, scrolling, and text selection working normally.
Released
Android 1.0.30
Fixed batch loading and layout jumps on the membership center and purchase confirmation pages; content is displayed after all data is ready, and refreshing and quote updates preserve the positions of existing content.
Move the upgrade instructions below the payment method options, add the square logo of the corresponding platform before the options; bank card channels are uniformly displayed as PayPal (Cards).
Fixed the issue where an old request number from a closed order continued to be used, causing repeated price change prompts when re-entering the page; orders still awaiting payment continue to be restored, avoiding duplicate creation.
When a quote has actually expired or membership information has changed, refresh the quote on the current checkout page and confirm the new amount before paying.
Released
Android 1.0.29
The billing country/region selection popup stays consistent with the language selection, using a unified rounded search box, scrollable list, and right-side selected marker.
Country options display the current interface language name and the English name, support search by either name, and provide one-tap search clearing.
Selected items gain a background highlight, and reopening the popup shows the current selection; canceling the selection keeps the original billing region.
Released
Android 1.0.28
The billing country/region for credit card payments is changed to a searchable selection list, and users are no longer required to manually enter the country code.
Country names follow the App interface language and support search by name or code; the billing region is actively selected by the user and is based on the billing address registered with the bank.
Corrected billing region support for mainland China; selecting "China" is sufficient, with no need to understand or enter a payment code.
Released
Android 1.0.27
Added an overseas Visa / Mastercard credit card payment entry, using the official PayPal Android SDK to complete bank card payments and necessary bank verification.
Membership purchase, renewal, and upgrade by paying the price difference support USD settlement; the checkout page displays the currency, amount, and the locked quote for this transaction. The quote is valid for 15 minutes.
Bank card information is handled directly by PayPal, is not sent to the Jiyi Note backend, and cards are not stored. This is still a one-time purchase and does not automatically renew.
Membership benefits are granted after the backend verifies the payment result; repeated requests and notifications will not grant benefits repeatedly, and refunds or cancellations enter benefit verification.
Corrected translations in some interface languages, retaining the brand rules of Simplified Chinese "记易笔记", Traditional Chinese "記易筆記", and "Jiyi Note" in other languages.
Updated payment privacy statement; the admin backend distinguishes USD and RMB orders, improving platform consumption and fee display.
Released
Android 1.0.26
The membership center supports instant upgrade by paying the price difference, renewal of the same plan, as well as downgrade upon expiration or switching between monthly/yearly payment; upgrades retain the used transcription quota, and the newly added quota is prorated based on the remaining time. The checkout page displays the amount and effective date. One-time purchase, no automatic renewal.
Released
Android 1.0.25
The personality analysis generation service is officially launched; after the upgrade, when connected to the internet, personality analysis will be automatically generated for historical records and saved language versions, supporting resumption after interruption, updating only the personality analysis while retaining the original transcription, summary, and user revisions.
Released
Android 1.0.24
Fixed the issue where, after entering the app from the desktop icon, switching languages would return directly to the desktop.
When switching the interface language, the desktop icon name is still updated synchronously, and the window currently in use is no longer closed.
App language changes can still trigger Android interface recreation, but the settings page and app foreground state will be preserved.
Retain the desktop name rules, follow system appearance, background audio import, record positioning, speaker renaming, and Bluetooth connection diagnostics features of 1.0.23.
Record details uniformly display titles, transcription text switches to high-contrast display in dark mode, and highlights the currently playing speech.
Released
Android 1.0.23
Fixed the issue where the desktop icon name did not sync after switching languages in the app: Simplified Chinese displays “记易笔记”, Traditional Chinese displays “記易筆記”, and other languages display “Jiyi Note”; supports switching back to following the system and corrects the name when the app restarts.
Add a follow system option to appearance mode, keep manual light and dark choices, and use sun and moon icons.
Audio import is converted to MP3 in the background, and saving or transcription is selected according to the audio source; segmented audio is merged in the specified order, reducing UI blocking during the import process.
Adjusted the search, filter, and import entries at the bottom of the records page; after transcription is complete, automatically scroll and locate the corresponding audio record.
Fixed synchronization of speaker labels, summary references, action items, and saved language versions after renaming a speaker; retained the ability to restore other speakers' names and original text.
Backend transcription usage is displayed in whole minutes.
Add recording card connection handshake, disconnection reasons, and transmission diagnostics, and improve Bluetooth transmission compatibility. The hardware capabilities of different headsets, Zhuoyitong, and recording cards are still subject to actual device verification.
After entering from the new desktop launch entry, switching languages may return directly to the desktop; 1.0.24 adds regression coverage for this path and fixes it, so the latest version should be used.
The build, download, and overwrite upgrade checks for 1.0.23 passed; language verification from the fixed main interface did not cover the above startup entry differences.
Released
Android 1.0.22
After the recording card finishes recording and transfers to the phone, recordings shorter than 10 seconds are filtered based on the actual audio duration verified by the phone, showing the same discard prompt as phone recordings. Exactly 10 seconds is retained; if the duration cannot be read, the file is retained; saved records are unaffected.
For short recordings, also clean up the original files downloaded this time, decoded files, and retry information, and record the processed status to avoid repeated automatic import after reconnecting. Download and decoding retries use the same verification process.
Fixed the button state for importing a single audio file and verified local preview compatibility for M4A files.
The mind map supports double-tap to restore the default view and mouse wheel zooming.
Meeting details add personality analysis display, prioritizing conclusions and corresponding speech evidence, and support reading long content.
Organizes multilingual string resources, retaining the respective brand name rules for Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and other languages.
Released
Android 1.0.21
Fixed crash when starting local recording while offline; phone or headset recording for logged-in users no longer depends on online account refresh.
Fixed the issue where “Use phone microphone this time” started the wrong device when a recording card was connected; an in-progress recording card always retains the stop entry point.
When importing audio, prepare a preview file locally first, then let the user decide whether to transcribe; older import records that were not transcribed will have local preview files repaired.
Local backup includes completed meetings, recordings pending transcription and original audio, imported source files, tags, local subtitles, conversations, and chat attachments; compatible with older backups, deduplicated by record ID, and rejects corrupted or unsafe backups. Restoring recordings pending transcription does not automatically upload them.
Pending transcription records support searching by display title and original filename.
The recording card connection page adds a prominent unbind entry; after unbinding, recheck the device binding status and display verified or pending verification results; the verification process does not automatically rebind.
Add reconnection and removal entry points to saved recording cards, and keep binding conflicts and recovery actions visible when disconnected. Clarify the difference between "Remove connection" and "Unbind device".
Scanning identifies recording cards by device name and protocol broadcast information, avoiding listing ordinary earphones and printers as recording cards.
When storage is unavailable, prompt to exit USB flash drive mode; stop, unbind, delete, format, and factory reset use their respective operation instructions.
The recording home page cancels irrelevant first-time album authorization requests; network and device failures provide localized explanations, technical details, and diagnostic copy; permission failures can enter system settings.
Questions that have not received a reply support retrying the original question; blank conversations avoid duplicate creation; conversations support renaming, archiving, moving back, deleting, and text export.
Device operation results and binding status switch with the app language; recording card tags support single-line horizontal scrolling, and all new interface copy and update descriptions are completed in 105 languages.
Include the currently submitted membership interface adjustments and real-time subtitle quota display; real-time subtitles and translation are calculated at double quota based on actual real-time audio duration.
Meeting details add a chapter shortcut bar, which shows or hides as you scroll.
Released

Complete the interface copy for all 105 supported languages, and fix the mixed-language prompts in chat input, attachment entry, photo album, and update status.
Update descriptions automatically provide versions for all supported languages; normal and forced update pages display according to the App language.
Fixed incorrect automatic translations of the Chinese recording brand in 1.0.19: Simplified and Traditional Chinese now use their correct localized Jiyi Note names; other languages use “Jiyi Note”.
Optimize the titles and positions of prompts such as recording completion and cancellation; retain existing recording, Bluetooth headset, recording card, and transcription features.

Connect missing translations, placeholders, residual Chinese, and source copy change checks to the build, signing, and release gates.
Released
Android 1.0.18
Fixed the issue where, when a Bluetooth headset was already connected, the home page still showed the phone microphone before recording started. While waiting to record, the name of the headset expected to be used for the next recording is displayed.
The home page monitors audio devices, Bluetooth call connections, foreground restoration, and one-time phone microphone setting changes, and updates the audio source display after a device is connected or disconnected, without needing to start recording first.
When "Use phone microphone this time" is selected, the home page shows the phone microphone; during recording, the actually confirmed input device continues to be displayed, and after stopping, it restores the default audio source for the next recording.
The default card title in record page settings is changed to directly select "Title / Filename", removing the arrow entry and the second-layer popup.
Released
Android 1.0.17
Recording defaults to prioritizing Bluetooth devices already paired, connected, and supporting microphones in the system; when no available Bluetooth microphone is connected, use the phone microphone.
Remove the in-app Bluetooth search, pairing, and manual headset selection interface; pairing and connection are completed through system Bluetooth settings; headset information and battery level available from the system are still retained.
In settings, you can select "Use phone microphone this time", which only applies to the next recording, after which recording returns to Bluetooth priority.
Retain the Bluetooth call recording channel and startup warm-up; if headset recording fails to start or disconnects midway, an error will be prompted and it will not automatically switch to the phone microphone.
“Default title for record cards” has been moved to the top-right settings on the Records page. Both title and filename options are retained, and the list refreshes immediately after changes.
The registration page and login page have a unified style, and password recovery uses an SMS verification code sent to the bound mobile number.
Optimize the shadow of the note Q&A control, unify the downward shadow, and reduce shadow intensity.
Released
Android 1.0.16
Added mobile phone number verification code registration: the mobile phone number serves as the login account, and after registration, log in with the mobile phone number and password. Supports password recovery via a bound mobile phone number, and old accounts can bind a mobile phone number in account management. Login supports only account and password; verification code login is not provided. When real-time translation is enabled, "Translating" is displayed and the same color as the stop button is used as a prompt, and the recording action buttons are moved down to avoid blocking the waveform.
Released
Android 1.0.15

This is a build verification version with no new business features.
Released
Android 1.0.14
After recording is completed and saved, you can choose to transcribe immediately or later; after the recording card finishes downloading, it is automatically added to records, and the original file remains on the card.
An optional recording name is added to the home page, and the name entered by the user is retained as the record subject.
Untranscribed records use a themed blue background and become light-colored after transcription is confirmed; transcription can be started from the lower left of the card and the upper right menu.
Untranscribed and failed records support opening details, playing the original recording, and choosing transcription or retry.
Record the addition of "Share Audio" to the top-right menu, allowing the original recording to be exported through the system share window.
Change technical transcription errors into easy-to-understand prompts, and remain compatible with saved old error records.
Fixed recording card record date displaying as "Unknown".
Optimize scrolling in the records list to reduce lag when dragging, while retaining entry points for details, transcription, and audio sharing.
Released
Android 1.0.13
Start a temporary VOICE_COMMUNICATION session while waiting for Bluetooth microphone routing, maintain call mode, and avoid the mode exiting early before formal recording has begun.
Temporary audio is not read, saved, or uploaded; the temporary session is released after formal recording starts, and is cleaned up on failure or cancellation.
Error reports add audio mode, SCO requests, and temporary recording status during startup. Continue strictly verifying real Bluetooth input and do not silently use the phone microphone.
Released
Android 1.0.12
Corrected Bluetooth headset connection detection: check the HFP call connection first, then enable the recording channel, to avoid incorrectly determining that a headset is not connected when some phones have not yet listed the headset microphone.
Add Bluetooth SCO recording channel compatibility handling; when connection status cannot be determined, still show an error and do not silently switch to the phone microphone.
The popup for headset recording startup failure adds scrollable, copyable error details, including the failure stage, phone and Android version, permissions, selected headset, HFP connection, and audio devices and routes.
Released
Android 1.0.11
Added a Bluetooth earphone card to the settings page. You can search for earphones within the App, initiate pairing, confirm the system pop-up, and select the earphone microphone for recording. Some paired devices still need to be connected via the system Bluetooth page.
Headset battery level reads the system's current value and listens for updates, fixing matching after the audio device address is anonymized by the system; APIs with restrictions or private battery protocols are not guaranteed to be readable.
Recording card and earphone battery are uniformly displayed with a battery icon on the left and percentage on the right. For unconnected recording cards, battery, capacity, and duration are hidden; for unconnected earphones, only the management entry is shown.
Recording card management unifies device search and connection entry, so users do not need to choose brand or old/new protocol; original authorization and verified protocol restrictions are retained.
When the mind map handle is closed, it can be tapped to go fullscreen, supports drag-to-zoom, exit, and saving the complete image to the album; fixed the top background showing through.
My subscription is merged into the top account card, and the local battery level is removed.

Old meeting notes can be translated into a target language, previewed, and then saved as a copy; the original meeting notes, transcription text, timestamps, speaker identifiers, and task owners are retained, without re-uploading audio or performing speech recognition.
When recording is started for the first time, background protection guidance is provided, Android battery optimization exemption authorization is invoked, the actual authorization status is verified, and an entry to the app's background settings is provided. Recording can still continue after refusal.
Non-recording files enter Ask Notes via external sharing; consecutive multiple shares are queued and appended, and read attachment drafts are saved by account and session. The limits of up to 8 attachments per session and 20 MB per file continue to apply.
Review and revision use buttons, selectors, input fields, and dialogs in the app color scheme; categories can be manually changed to meeting, phone call, class, interview, or other, and are saved or discarded together with text revisions. Reprocessing uses the saved category.
The order of the details page is review and revision, Word/PPT export, mind map, and then the remaining content. Translation copy export is selected by record ID to avoid exporting the wrong version when sharing the same jobId with the original record.

Parsing results follow the App display language: summaries, key points, to-dos, mind maps, note Q&A body text, and Word/PPT export titles all use the display language; the original transcription body retains the original language from the recording.
Speaker labels in the transcribed text are also generated according to the display language (Speaker 1: / Speaker 1: / ผู้พูด 1: / Ræðumaður 1: , etc.). Labels are fixed at generation time; switching the App language afterward will not change already generated content, and the client can still recognize and rename historical labels in each language.
When the display language is not Chinese, package prices are converted to the corresponding national currency at the real-time exchange rate (retaining 4 significant digits, with the last digit rounded), and fall back to RMB when the exchange rate is unavailable.
The previously hardcoded Chinese interface copy (audio import sorting, verification and revision, original audio verification, local backup, app update, category filtering, history list, storage/recording exceptions, etc.) has all been extracted into resource keys and translated.
A new line of explanation about the language rules for parsing results is added to "Software Language" on the settings page.

The order of the filter bar and manual classification menu is: Meeting, Phone Call, Class, Interview, Other; keep All in front of the filter bar.
Call records use the telephone receiver icon.
Prioritize matching call expressions in the transcription body according to user requirements: wei, bye-bye (including variants with some spaces and commas), hang up the phone, I'm hanging up first, hanging up now, can you hear me, can you hear me. Any hit is automatically classified as a phone call, even if the summary describes a meeting or course.
Classification rules apply to newly completed transcriptions; old records are not overwritten in batches. The existing manual classification protection for retranscription remains effective.
